Meet the Founder
Mary Masabata Metsing has spent five years teaching beauty skills in Tladi, Soweto — starting informally, then formally registering the business with the CIPC in October 2022 (as Masabata Beauty Circle, renamed The Blue Naartjie Beauty Academy in July 2026). Not with a business plan, but with a table, a passion, and a conviction that township talent deserves professional recognition.
Five years on, over 17,800 community members follow us because Mary built trust before credentials. Her hands-on approach and deep community roots are the reason learners travel from across Gauteng to train at The Blue Naartjie.
